Due to the large amount of applications we receive, please be patient. We will contact you if we need more information. Once your application has been approved we will contact you and request a deposit in order to transport your new family member to NJ. Once the deposit has been received, your pet will be removed from Petfinder.

Thank you for your interest and patience. If you do not hear back from us and the pet you were interested in is no longer on Petfinder, he/she has already found a new family. We encourage you to check our petfinder daily as we are constantly updating with new adorable pets.

About US

Heaven Sent Animal Rescue NJ (HSARNJ) was founded July 4, 2018. We are a group of hard working, dedicated volunteers that are against shelters using euthanasia to solve overpopulation issues. Our volunteer fosters provide their homes until we are able to find a perfect home. Our rescue is first come first serve, we can't hold our pets. We transport from out of state and only bring up dogs that are spoken for or have a deposit.

Heaven Sent Animal Rescue NJ is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization ran by only volunteers.
Without our loyal and dedicated donor support the work we do would not be possible.

Our Mission

Founded with the simple thought in mind to save as many dogs/puppies as possible and find their forever homes.

Spay and Neuter

Heaven Sent Animal Rescue NJ (HSARNJ) encourages every pet owner to spay/neuter. It helps ensure that the pet's owners do not end up with more pets than they can handle. The state of NJ offers a spay/neuter program on their government website.

*All our pets are in foster care in Alabama or Mississippi and are fully vetted, up-to-date on all age appropriate vaccinations and dewormed. They are then transported to South Amboy, NJ for adoption.

Some animals are too young to be spayed/neutered safely, it is recommended that small dogs are fixed at 6 months and larger dogs at one year. If your new pet cannot be spayed/neutered prior to adoption, it is your responsibility.

THE IMPORTANCE OF SPAY/NEUTER

LONGER, HEALTHIER, HAPPIER LIVES FOR PETS

SAVE PET'S LIVES

For every dog bred and sold, there's another dog waiting for a home in a shelter will die. By spaying/neutering your pet, you are helping to save lives and stop overpopulation in shelters.

BEHAVIOR BENEFITS

Can help reduce undesirable behaviors like marking territory or mounting.

Neutering may help lesson aggressive behavior in males, as testosterone levels are greatly reduced. However it isn't a guarantee.

PREVENT DISEASES

In female dogs spaying prior to their first heat has the best chance of protection against uterine infections and breast tumors.

In male dogs it can help prevent testicular cancer.

SAVE MONEY

The cost of spaying or neutering your pet is less than the cost of raising puppies/dogs

Unaltered dogs can produce 4-6 puppies every year.
